Historic Railway Museum
The Milang Railway Museum is situated on the banks of Lake Alexandrina just an hour's drive from Adelaide. It offers an interesting experience for both the railway enthusiast and families. It is a non-profit organisation run by volunteers.
Entry to the museum is free.
The museum is open from noon to 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays or by appointment. It tells the story of the Lakes Railways, displays a collection of South Australian rolling stock and equipment. We offer Devonshire Teas and other refreshments on Sundays. If the museum is closed and you want some quick answers then call Allan on 0437 800 811 or Roger on 0413 616 834.
The craft shop is open 10am to 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

On every Sunday, from noon to 4pm, the Museum offers free train rides on the munitions light railway and refreshments in the Cafeteria Car. These include $7 Devonshire Teas. The museum also opens on Saturdays.
